Bottled by Arran distillery exclusively for us at The Whisky Shop, this very special Private Cask expression is limited to just 506 bottles. Aged for 13 years in a single sherry cask, the whisky explodes with dark sherry flavour. Decanted at a cask strength of 55.1% abv, free from chill filtration and at natural colour.
On the nose, we find notes of chocolate orange, christmas cake and fresh cinnamon, which lead to a rich sherry influence on the palate. Hints of sultanas and fresh almond come forth, before a spicy finish with further deep, dark fruit notes and a delicate hint of praline.
