Balblair 25 Year Old

This 25-year-old Highland single malt is distilled at the Balblair distillery in Edderton. Matured for at least a quarter of a century before bottling, aged in a combination of American oak bourbon casks and in Spanish oak casks. Bottled at 46% abv.

The nose is indulgent and fruity with apricot and liquorice atop polished oak and a hint of saddle wax. The palate brings rich chocolate praline with faint tobacco leaf and an oily texture, before smooth chocolate and blood orange in the warming finish.
