Ballechin 10 Year Old

A Ballechin expression from Edradour distillery. This heavily peated dram spent ten years maturing in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled at 46% abv. The whisky is free from both artificial colouring and chill filtration.

On the nose, there are fresh herbs, wood smoke, and sweet grass. The palate is intricate with earthy and smoky hints perfectly balanced by notes of dark chocolate and spiced oak before leading into the smouldering, floral finish.
