This fabulous 25-year-old Ben Nevis has been bottled as part of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s tenth birthday celebrations. Made using brewer’s yeast in wooden washbacks, this expression calls to mind the old ways of whisky making. Just 783 bottles of this unique dram have been produced.
Expect aromas of raisins, sultanas, toasted nuts, balsamic vinegar, and candied orange peel on the nose. The palate brings blackberries, smoked meats, and tobacco before leading into the oily, vegetal, and spicy finish.
