Compass Box Menagerie

A limited-edition blended whisky from Compass Box, Menagerie is a blend of re-charred barrels, a refill hogshead, refill sherry seasoned butts, a custom French oak barrel, and a re-charred hogshead. When creating this expression, lead whisky maker James Saxon chose whiskies that boast somewhat animalistic hints; this blended comprises single malt whiskies from Mortlach, Deanston, Laphroaig, and Glen Elgin Distilleries, with blended malt from the Highland Malt Blend Distillery.

A mix of aromatic fruits, leather, and baking spices rise to meet the nose. The palate is particularly juicy with ripe fruit. Dark fruits and wood smoke linger in the finish.
