Darkness Campbeltown 8 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish

From their limited-edition intensely sherried collection, Darkness present this typically Campbeltown region dram. The whisky has been matured for eight years, including a finish in hand-coopered Oloroso octave casks. Bottled at 56.5% abv.

Expect an oily, briny and creamy nose, along with lashings of prune and fig. The palate leads to flavours of dried mango, leather, bruised apple, maple syrup and nuts, before a finish of blueberries, coffee, ginger tea and Malteasers.
