Deanston 2000 Organic Cask Strength

The Highland malt-maker, Deanston Distillery, has matured this dram in organic bourbon casks before giving it a finish in organic Fino sherry casks. Distilled in 2000, this expression enjoyed a long maturation before just 2,784 bottles were filled at 50.9% abv. 

This Deanston dram offers notes of stewed red berries, malt loaf, and dried fruits on the nose. The palate is waxy, with notes of black cherry, cocoa, and black coffee. The finish is full of cinnamon, crystallised pineapple, and milk chocolate.
