Edradour 12 Year Old Caledonia

From the smallest distillery in Scotland, Edradour, this single cask bottling is from songwriter Dougie MacLean’s Caledonia Selection – named for his famous tune. This Highland expression completed an initial maturation in bourbon casks followed by an Oloroso finish of four to five years. Bottled at 46% abv and free from chill filtration, Caledonia is an old fashioned whisky for those looking for how whisky used to be made.

Expect aromas of sweet sultanas, figs and honey, leading to a palate reminiscent of Christmas cake, with orange spice. The finish is gentle, warming and spicy.
