This single cask expression from Hunterr Laing & Co.’s First Editions series was distilled in 2010 at Blair Athol in the Perthshire town of Pitlochrie. Matured in a single bourbon barrel for its full term, this limited edition release produced just 351 bottles in 2018, each one presented at a preferred strength of 46% abv, free from chill filtration and artificial colouring.
The nose is sweet with candied fruits, sweet tea and liquorice allsorts. The palate is fruity with apple and orange notes before a smooth toasted barley note on the finish.
