Glen Moray Warehouse 1 2010 Amarone Cask

A UK exclusive from Glen Moray, this 2010 vintage was finished in a handful of Amarone wine casks. This limited edition dram, a part of their Warehouse 1 collection, was bottled at a cask strength of 55.4% abv. Only 1194 bottles have been produced, and the expression is free from chill filtration with natural colour. 

On the nose we find notes of fig, cinnamon and peppercorn which transcend into a rich chocolate-cherry liqueur. The palate leads to brown sugar and chocolate flavours which fade to reveal a burst of cherry. For the close, green peppercorns linger, with slight acidity undercut by a tannic influence.
