Glenallachie 10 Year Old Spanish Oak Finish

Batch Three of The GlenAllachie Virgin Oak Series are all first matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, with an additional maturation for approximately 18 months in a variety virgin oak casks: Scottish, Hungarian and Spanish oak. Each of these three woods react uniquely with the GlenAllachie spirit, adding texture, depth and variety.

In this Spanish Oak release the liquid is aged for a total of 10 years. Grown in the cool and humid Cantabrian Mountains of the Galician and Asturias regions of Spain, the wood has accentuated the deep mahogany hue and notes of dried fruit, maraschino cherries and stem ginger.
