Lagg’s heavily peated 50PPM spirit matured for 30 months in ex-bourbon casks with a 6 month finish in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at 50% abv.
The dram opens with chocolate hazelnut on the nose, moving to the palate with flavours of chewy salted toffee, red fruits, and a big hit of peat. The close has more earthy peat, oak, caramel, and treacle sweetness.
