The second crop of the Lochlea seasonal small batch releases has arrived. Sowing Edition (Second Crop) has been matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks from higher up in Lochlea’s warehouse, to show a progression on last years release with a faster maturation and older liquid, bottled at 46%.
The nose opens with signature notes of sweet red apples and fresh pear, moving into a palate of almond oil and rich vanilla, with a crisp and refreshing finish of pine needles.
