Miyagikyo Aromatic Yeast

A special expression from Nikka’s softer second distillery, Miyagikyo, this whisky was made with aromatic yeasts which encourage more fruity flavours. Bottled in 2022 as part of their Nikka Discovery range, the whisky sits at 47% abv.

Expect aromas of rose water, coconut, stone fruits and vanilla, along with notes of fresh croissants, pear, green foliage and heather honey on the palate. A delightfully fruity and floral whisky, with a finish full of cherry blossom, grass and chamomile.
