Double-distilled Irish whiskey from the Kilbeggan Distilling Co., Tyrconnell was first produced to celebrate the victory of a racehorse of the same name at the 1876 National Produce Stakes horse race. Bottled at 43% abv, this is their signature single malt expression.
The nose has vanilla, Granny Smith apples, marzipan and fresh pastries. This vanilla continues into the palate alongside lemon zest and baking spices before leading into a finish still full of vanilla and spiced oak.
